Trinidadian Kick-boxer Randy Sooknarine defeated Bajan 2010 K-1 national Champion Leaton Watts in the 3rd Round by TKO at the Bridgetown Burning Martial Arts Gala. The event which was hosted by the Barbados Wrestling Association, Barbados Wushu Taichi Federation and Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. featured traditional martial arts such as Kung Fu and Tai Chi as well as combat sports such as Olympic Freestyle Wrestling and Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing).

Sooknarine started off strongly dropping his opponent with a head kick at the beginning of the round, Watts was able to get back his composure and scored a takedown and landed several low kick. The Trinbagonian fighter boxing proved to be the deciding factor after landing several counter punches forcing the referee to give a standing 8 count towards the end of the second round. The bout was stopped in the 3rd after Sooknarine landed a series of unanswered combinations.
